Activities

Department of Electrical Engineering is very proactive in arranging and organizing various activities for the overall development of students. These activities can be categorized as Academic, Professional, and Other Activities.

Training on PLC and SCADA, Meggar, MATLAB, ETAP, Ansys, etc. by professionals

Mini-Project Competitions, Poster Competitions, Photography Competition.

IET Karmaveer Expo (Working Model Contest).

Industrial Trainings, Certificate Courses, and Internships.

Students get a chance to work on various committees while arranging and organizing these activities.

`Professional Activities`

Department has the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) (UK) students section (On-Campus) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) student chapter. Many students are members of IET and IEEE and some of them are on the student body. Department is also having a student association called Engineering Federation for Electrical Council and Technology (EFFECT). Through these professional bodies, various activities are arranged for all students to develop the professional skills.

`Other Activities`

Department is providing a platform to the students in the form of ‘AVISHKAR’ for showcasing their talent in poem and story writing, sketching and painting, and other activities. Department is also publishing a monthly e-Newsletter (Link for the same is given on the 1st page). The department also arranges cultural events during the ‘Karmaveer Expo’ every year.
