Department has a recognized Research Center of Savitribai Phule Pune University and offers Ph.D. in various areas of Electrical Engineering.
- There are 4 recognized Ph.D. guides available at the Research Center.
- The state-of-the-art research lab is available with computing facilities and all major application software in Electrical Engineering. The research laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art measuring equipment and hardware facilities. (Refer the table given below).
- Online access to various e-recourses, e-journals, and the digital library is available with a Wi-Fi facility.
- Access to a research laboratory is available for 24 hours.
- Consultancy services on power system studies, power quality, energy management are offered to industries.
- Technical training sessions for R&D professionals are organized and technical expertise for patent revocation is offered through the Research Center.
